The Conway High girls golf team easily won the Wampus Cat Invitational last weekend at Centennial Valley Country Club.

Led by medalist Casey Ott’s 147 over 36 holes, the Conway girls combined for a 519, followed by Rogers, 545, Hot Springs Lakeside, 550, Fayetteville, 588, Har-Ber, 619, and Cabot, 650.

Other Conway scores were: Sydney Stiener, 89-83-172; Sam Stiener, 101-99-200; Sarah Raycher, 117-127-244; and Mary Mosley, 116-128-244.

The CHS boys combined for a 650 for a fourth-place finish behind Cabot, 600; Fayetteville, 606, and Rogers, 637. Other boys scores were Little Rock Catholic, 658, Conway Blue, 671, Bryant, 671, Lakeside, 681, Searcy, 745, and Conway Freshmen, 915.

Davis Zimmerman led the Conway White team at 80-79-159, followed by Jon Jackson, 79-83-162, Jackson Goodwin, 85-77-162, Hunter Hull, 82-85-167, and Will Rose, 87-91-178.

Conway Blue scores wee: Jake Jackson, 77-82-159, Blake Brindley, 78-82-160, Jett Tolliver, 84-91-175, Easton McFadin, 96-88-184, and Jackson Hutchins, 89-92-181.

Matthew Stepens fired an 87-99-186 to lead the CHS freshmen.
