The varsity boys’ basketball team defeated both opponents on Nov. 19 at the Hall of Fame event hosted at Webb. The team beat Providence Christian Academy, 58-23, in the first game and Red Boiling Springs, 70-60, in the second game.
In the first game, Webb jumped early with a 22-5 lead after the first quarter and led 40-16 at the half. Garth McIntosh led all players with 18 points. Keon Johnson scored 16 as the other player in double figures. Additional scorers were Hayden Weeks, 9; Henry Moore 6; Greg Kilpatrick, 4; and Cole Zuckowsky, Joe Collins and Kane Edwards with 2 each.
PCA’s Taylor led all scorers with 40 points.

In the second game, Webb’s Johnson led all scorers with 46 points as the team built an early lead, 23-8, after the first period. Webb had a 10-point margin at the half. King added 7, McIntosh and Zuckowsky 6 each, Weeks 4, and Moore 1.
Elijah Byford led Red Boiling Spring with 22 points.
